The Sims 3 + Regnar

I have turned off the voices in The Sims 3.

This is because last week, a couple of times Regnar was hiding near the doorway to the bedroom and when I approached he backed off and acted like he didn't recognise me. Took a few days before I connected that with the game.

Apparently he thinks the game voices are enough like real voices that he thinks there are other people here, unknown people.
